Over the years, Jordan Brand has prepped special collections of some of its most iconic designs, pushing concepts and narratives forward. For its latest loose duo, the popular sneaker manufacturer has reworked both the Air Jordan 1 Mid and Air Jordan 1 Low in special “Tech Grey” ensembles.
Part of the brand’s Craft series, the unreleased duo injects a “deconstructed” aesthetic into two of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. Off white hues cover the entirety of the pairs, which see a mix of leather and suede panels throughout the uppers. The sneakers’ “inside-out” arrangement enables non-standard stitch lines and other accents that elevate Peter Moore’s 38-year-old designs. The updated branding hits also deliver refreshing touches to the Air Jordan 1 legacy, one that’s reached unrivaled success off-the-court. Lastly, both “Tech Grey”-featuring retros boast “aged” midsoles that add to the shoes’ non-pristine aesthetic.
The pairs launched stateside via nike.com back in April, but are set to release at select shops overseas on May 30th.
