While no longer in partnership with Japan’s White Mountaineering, adidas is still on schedule to deliver trail-ready, outdoors-inspired footwear proposals. The latest comes in the form of an updated Response Trail Boost curiously named the Response TR STMNT.
Visually, the new model – which launches in two different colorways – is familiar. Uppers deliver a snug, but breathable wear via their nylon and knit construction, the latter prominent across the toe box and midfoot. Perforated leather reinforces the toe box, with a non-punctured version adding durability to the eyestays and heel overlay. As with its predecessor, which has received a few KITH collaborations before, the sock-like collar and strap-supported lacing-system further contribute to the Response TR STMNT’s cozy fit. Underfoot, sole units indulge in Boost cushioning towards the heel for premium comfort in the outdoors. Continental rubber outsoles, which are touted as offering 32% more traction in wet conditions than the competition, round out both pairs in “Footwear White”.
Enjoy a closer look at the Response TR STMNT below, and find pairs available across Europe on August 21st.
