Among Nike’s many classics, the Air Force 1 is easily the best canvas for nods to the Air Jordan 1 and even the Dunk High/Low. And with its latest colorway, the silhouette is further proving this with some bold Daktari Stripes.
Though nothing overtly special to those uninformed, the pattern will elicit feelings of nostalgia for longtime sneakerheads. Specifically, it celebrates the same-named Dunk Lows from 2003, whose look is perfectly mimicked here in all aspects but color. These zebra-esque prints, though blotted in black and found along the overlays all the same, are made much bolder as they dress “Fuel Orange” suedes. White leathers build underneath, brighter, “Atomic Orange” Swooshes/branding complement adjacent, and gum bottoms finish just underfoot.
